Villa 1309 can be summed up with a few adjectives such as clean, fresh looking, comfortable in design and attractive in furnishings- Mixed with being in a good position- close to the beach and resort, situated on a quiet cul de sac and enjoying some sea views, makes this villa quite a good holiday base. The ground floor can be approached via the garage or main door, to the left of the vestibule there is a large comfortable lounge with large sliding doors to the pool side area, the fully equipped kitchen is located to the rear of this room. There is a double bedroom and shower room located on this floor. Pretty stairs lead to the upper bedroom area and terrace with sea views. The 7 x 4 rectangular pool measures 1.9 mts in the deep end and a meter in the shallow. The villa has a very agreeable porch with terrace furniture and also sufficient poolside furniture spread around the poolside terrace for six guests. Holiday barbequing can be aided with the built in BBQ. Surrounding the villa there is a pretty lawn area with border shrubs and flowers.

Cales Coves features over 100 Bronze Age caves (some of which are still inhabited by latter day hippies) carved into the cliff looking out to a sheltered bay. Cave painting and carvings are all to be found in this fascinating area. The beach is pebbly, there are no services and with very limited access, this probably isn't a place for those seeking pure relaxation - although it is a chance to tap history and beauty in one breathtaking location. To get there, go to Son Vitamina then either walk (approx. 30 mins) or take a robust vehicle.
